Every year, we are celebrating the Nutrition month to declare or state the importance and significance of nutrition. Do you know that the nutrition is all about obtaining or providing food that are necessary for our health and growth?
Here in the Philippines, some people doesn't know the essence of nutrition that's why we are suffering from crisis about malnutrition and hunger. The department of health is studying and working to prevent this kind of crisis in our country. There are many ways to prevent this crisis, but the best way is to get the correct amount of nutrients by simply eating healthy and nutritious food.
There are also things that we must consider to avoid malnutrition. The first thing is to eat right and correct food, especially vegetables. During ancient times here in our country malnutrition is not yet trending because people eats vegetable and that is the reason why they spent their life enjoyable, memorable, and long. One thing also is to have your knowledge about foods because if you have that kind of knowledge you can control yourself about foods and consumption of foods.
Vitamin deficiency, stunted growth and even death are the other factors of hunger and malnutrition that can affect us. There are some foods tat can help us to avoid malnutrition, you must eat food that are rich in carbohydrates, protein, fats, vitamins and minerals.
The other is the hunger in our country, so we must eat proper nutritional foods, like vegetables, grains and legumes to ensure our body health and have a balance diet so that we will improve our nations economy.
